Click on the images below to see the full picture. Some are 24bit JPEG files, but quality for some will not be high since they are  8 bit GIF files. They were all originally generated as 24 bit images. All the images were created on my ray tracer which was called PowerShade when it was being developed for Arxe Systems Ltd in London, and Merlin when developed for Evolution Computer of Germany. Unfortunately neither company was large enough to employ me full time, nor to market the product enough to achieve it's full sales potential. Even nowadays, when compared against other packages in the same price range (approx 100 pounds) the results are pretty good, but in the late eighties when these pictures were generated on my ray tracer, they caught the attention of a lot people. How different things could have been with the right company…
