Without question, computer graphics encompasses my interest in computing. Ever since I could write a 'hello world' program I've wanted to use the computer as a tool to create images on the screen. From simple bouncing coloured lines to dragon curves, from fractal images to photorealism through ray tracing, from solid modelling to real time animation I've been fascinated and addicted by it all.
I was enthused at an early age by the work of Industrial
Light and Magic and the Moving Picture Company, and by Pietgen and Richter's
Beauty of Fractals. I've spent vast numbers of hours of my spare time writing
software to generate pretty pictures in the shortest time and with the
best quality. This web site details a small part of my work, concentrating
on just two pieces of software I've written which have provided the greatest
challenge, if not exactly untold wealth.
